English Mass is being held in 's-Hertogenbosch at the St. Catherine’s Church every Saturday at 5.15 P.M. St. Catherine (Sint Cathrien) is a national monument located in the city center of 's-Hertogenbosch and has a beautiful organ, too. Be sure to keep an eye out for the various church activities listed on this website, Facebook or Instagram.

Upcoming special masses and activities
Join the English speaking community of Parochie Maria
The community of the English Mass in 's-Hertogenbosch is growing and has members from all around the world. You are invited to join for a cup of tea or coffee after mass and for dinner to get to know the members of the English community. Having a warm and inviting community is very meaningful to us. This way we can from each other and find each other in Christ. On Saturday you can also join us for dinner. Mail us when you will join for dinner.
Religious practices in English – taking care of your spiritual life
Having an English mass in ‘s-Hertogenbosch is nice, but there’s more to practicing your religion than that. Our pastoral team is able to also to arrange marriages, to baptize and do first communion or confirmation. If you need any kind of spiritual guidance, we will happily talk with you personally to see how we can assist you in a way that helps you best. Johanneke Bosman, our pastoral worker, will happily help you or re-direct you to father Titus, Geoffrey, Bart or Paul. Please feel free to contact her.

Meet our community: this is what we do
After each mass, our community has dinner together, following what Christ taught us with the breaking of bread. We also have fun together. For example, we watched the Eurovision Song contest together and went bowling. Hopefully we’ll have more such nice activities to come.
But of course, we also roll up our sleeves when the Church needs help. Many people help the pastoral team when a Church clean up day is organized.

English theology course from our own academy
In September and October we also provide the possibility to English speaking people to further explore theology by means of a course: Introduction Systematic Theology. Its lecturer will be renowned theologian Frank Bosman, who is a assistant professor at Tilburg School of Catholic Theology at Tilburg University. This course is from the Catharina Academie, a project from Parochie Maria. The academy aims to offer a variety of practical and theoretical courses and workshops in an accessible, yet academically responsible manner for a broadly interested audience.
